Responsibilities

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Provide psychotherapy and medication management as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in case conferences and clinical meetings Stay informed about advancements in psychiatric practices and treatments Ensure compliance with medical regulations and ethical standards

Requirements

MD degree with specialization in Psychiatry Active medical license to practice in the state of Alabama Experience in psychiatric evaluations and treatment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to patient-centered care and confidentiality Familiarity with electronic health record systems Flexibility to adapt to various patient needs and treatment protocols

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Call shifts required

Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Duties

Diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, medication management, follow-up care, etc.

Any active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory accepted

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel & expenses
