The Hospitalist will manage patient care, conduct rounds, and document progress while collaborating with nursing and healthcare teams. Responsibilities also include performing admissions, providing cross-coverage, and responding to codes.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and possess an active medical license in the state of practice. Board certification in Internal Medicine is preferred, along with experience in a hospitalist role.

Provide comprehensive patient assessments and treatment plans Manage a diverse patient population with various medical conditions Collaborate effectively with nursing and healthcare teams Conduct rounds and document patient progress accurately Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices Participate in quality improvement initiatives Communicate effectively with patients and their families Stay current with medical advancements and protocols
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Board certification in Internal Medicine preferred Experience in a hospitalist role is an advantage Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient-centered care Active medical license in the state of practice
Schedule: Tuesday-Monday, 7a-7p
Daily Census: 4-5 admissions
Duties: Admissions, cross-coverage, and responding to codes (ER MD will run the code)
Will also cover small/open ICU
No procedures required
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
