The Locum CRNA will administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during various surgical procedures. They will collaborate with surgeons and medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintain accurate clinical records.
Candidates must hold an associate degree in nursing and a master's degree in nurse anesthesia, along with current state licensure as a CRNA. Previous clinical anesthesiology experience is preferred, and the role requires proficiency in various anesthesia techniques and independent practice.

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. You'll collaborate closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout their surgical experience. Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgeries Collaborate with surgeons and medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and consultations Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses Provide post-anesthesia care and support to patients Stay updated on best practices and advancements in anesthesiology Ensure compliance with safety protocols and medical standards
Associate degree in nursing and a master's degree in nurse anesthesia Current state licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Previous experience in a clinical anesthesiology setting preferred Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Availability for flexible scheduling as a locum provider
Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts
1:5 weekend call and 1:10 weekday call, 12-hour shifts
135 beds, 7 ORs running daily, and surgery center onsite
Everything except hearts and heads, including general, OB, GI, orthopedics, critical care, robotics, endo, cath lab, trauma
Must be comfortable with ultrasound-guided blocks and ICU cases
Must be comfortable with epidurals, spinals, peripheral nerve blocks, arterial lines, central lines, and epidural blood patch
Will practice independently
