As a Locum NP/PA, you will be integral in providing high-quality radiology services, working closely with our team of specialists to ensure optimal patient care. Perform patient evaluations and assessments in a radiology setting Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals Order and interpret diagnostic imaging studies Provide patient education regarding procedures and imaging results Maintain accurate and timely medical records Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department Stay current with advancements in radiology practices and technologies
Associate's degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies Current NP or PA licensure in the state of Massachusetts Experience in a radiology or similar medical setting is preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a focus on patient-centered care Basic proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-4:30p
No call, weekends, or holidays
Daily Volume: ~10 port procedures
High-acuity patient population
Pre- and post-care for line placements, port insertion and removal, central venous access, consents, orders, moderate sedation assessments, ASA and airways, H&P, pre-procedure evaluations, and discharges
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
