The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care, including lab tests, treatments, and medication administration under the direction of physicians or nurses. They also perform clerical duties, maintain patient records, and ensure exam rooms are prepared and stocked.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include completion of a Medical Assistant program, one year of experience, or certification as an EMT/Paramedic.
