The therapist is responsible for developing treatment plans, writing discharge summaries, and implementing therapeutic services for patients. They will work collaboratively as part of a treatment team under the supervision of the Clinical Services Director.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a behavioral health field and possess a valid license to practice psychotherapy in Texas (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT). At least 6 months of experience in psychiatric facilities providing therapy and case management is required.
Therapist- at Outpatient Hospital in San Marcos, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for developing and writing treatment plans and discharge summaries within established time frames and formats. - Is a liaison with other disciplines, colleagues, physicians, families, and outside agencies. - Responsible for assessing, designing, structuring, and implementing therapeutic services that best meets the needs of patients and their families. - Working collaboratively as a treatment team member. Masters Degree in Behavioral Health field Must be licensed to practice psychotherapy in the State of Texas (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or under supervision for licensure (LMSW, LPC-I, or LMFT-A) At least 6 months work experience providing individual, group and family therapy, case management and discharge planning in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility Familiarity with ethical and legal issues regarding reporting of abuse and neglect. Prior inpatient adult psychiatric experience preferred.
