The Clinical Veterinarian will conduct routine rounds, provide preventive care, and ensure all animal care activities comply with USDA regulations and company SOPs. They will also partner with the Attending Veterinarian and IACUC to oversee research protocols and provide surgical and anesthesia support.
Candidates must hold a DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school and possess at least 2 years of experience in laboratory animal medicine. An active or eligible veterinary license in Massachusetts is required, along with strong clinical judgment and collaborative skills.

We’re looking for a Clinical Veterinarian who is passionate about animal health, high-quality care, and supporting cutting-edge preclinical research. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Attending Veterinarian and senior leadership to ensure our animal care program operates at the highest standards of welfare, compliance, and scientific integrity. What You’ll Do Conduct routine veterinary rounds, providing clinical care and preventive medicine while ensuring accurate and consistent documentation Partner with Operations and senior staff to ensure all animal care activities meet USDA regulations, company policies, and SOPs Serve as a trusted advisor on animal health and welfare, including anesthesia, analgesia, disease prevention, and humane care practices Perform physical exams and health assessments, including specialized procedures such as TB testing in non-human primates Collaborate with the Attending Veterinarian and IACUC to support protocol review, program oversight, and regulatory compliance Contribute to training, coaching, and guidance for animal care staff to ensure best practices across the program Provide surgical and anesthesia support as needed Participate in emergency, weekend, and holiday coverage as part of a shared rotation Why This Role Matters You won’t just be providing care—you’ll be shaping and influencing a comprehensive animal care program.
