The Music Therapist assesses hospice patients to develop and implement individualized music therapy plans of care to improve quality of life. They also document services, facilitate grief support, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient and family goals.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy and be board-certified or eligible for certification by the Certification Board for Music Therapists. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and the ability to pass a criminal background check are required.
Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy, and must meet educational requirements to achieve certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists. Previous experience with terminally ill patients/families is highly desirable.
