The registered nurse performs direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring of surgical and orthopedic patients. They also collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update treatment plans and delegate tasks to patient care technicians.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in Nursing and possess a valid RN license in Michigan. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and Techniques for Effective Aggression Management.
The registered nurse will perform direct patient/resident care and delegation to patient care technicians in providing care and comfort to the residents. Knowledge and compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and guidelines relating to facility care will be maintained. This position has basic medical/surgical knowledge in order to care for general surgical and orthopedic surgical patients. *$14,000 Sign-On Bonus Available*
Certifications and Licensures
Credential: BLS: Basic Life Support
Required within 12 months of hire or transfer. Effective 5/8/24, current employees will have 12 months to obtain the certification.
