The Medical Assistant coordinates the patient journey for sleep apnea diagnosis, including scheduling telemedicine visits and managing home sleep testing devices. They are responsible for patient follow-up, treatment compliance monitoring, and collaborating with sleep specialists to ensure quality care.
Candidates must have a Medical Assistant certification or at least 2 years of clinical administrative experience in a medical setting. Strong communication skills and proficiency with telemedicine platforms and electronic medical records are required.
Description Frontier Sleep and Wellness is a brand new and exciting medical practice focused on diagnosing and managing sleep apnea. Our patients are seen via telemedicine by a Nurse Practitioner and supported through home sleep testing. The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless patient journey from initial diagnosis to ongoing support.
Medical Assistant certification or 2+ years of clinical administrative experience in a medical setting. Strong communication and follow-up skills with a patient-first mindset. Comfortable working with telemedicine platforms and electronic medical records. Detail-oriented and able to manage tracking and coordination tasks independently. Experience in sleep medicine or pulmonary care is a plus, but not required.
