The technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and distributing medical equipment and instruments used in patient care. Additionally, they provide orientation and training to staff while facilitating daily departmental functions.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and hold an active national certification such as CRCST, CSPDT, CFER, or be a Certified Surgical Technologist. Relevant experience in a healthcare environment and the ability to serve as a preceptor are required.
