The Restorative Nursing Assistant provides rehabilitative and therapeutic services to help residents maintain their highest level of function in daily activities. Responsibilities include performing restorative nursing tasks, documenting resident progress, and assisting with physical needs such as feeding and mobility.
Candidates must hold an active CNA certification and have completed a state-approved Restorative Nurse Assistant Training Program. Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility and current BLS/CPR certification are preferred.
This person will be responsible for delivering rehabilitative and therapeutic services by licensed medical staff and in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. Assists residents to achieve or maintain their highest practicable level of ADL function through consistent, structured and controlled re-teaching and retraining techniques to promote increased participation in activities of daily living.
