Provides direct nursing care to patients at the Mays Cancer Center, including preparing equipment and assisting physicians during treatments. Coordinates work within schedule constraints and handles emergent requirements as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Requires an Associate Degree and valid RN State Licensure and BLS certification. Candidates must be able to function within the Texas Nurse Practice Act and communicate effectively.
The MCC Clinical Registered Nurse - Associate provides direct nursing care to patients at the Mays Cancer Center. Demonstrated competence in preparing equipment and aiding physicians during treatment and examination of patients. Works under the general supervision of the department leadership.
