The Peer Recovery Support Specialist provides non-clinical, peer-to-peer support services to promote health, recovery, and wellness. The role requires travel between various program sites to assist individuals in their recovery journey.
Applicants must have at least one year of lived experience with substance use disorder and sustained personal recovery. A valid driver's license and certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist in Virginia are required.
