The Program Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy to residents diagnosed with eating disorders within a residential treatment setting. They work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, dietitians, and medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related mental health field is required. Candidates should possess strong clinical assessment skills and experience in crisis intervention, with eating disorder experience being highly preferred.
Master's Degree required from an accredited college or university, in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or a related mental health field preferred. Direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; and strong clinical assessment skills, preferred. Those with experience in the eating disorder field are highly encouraged to apply. In lieu of experience specialized education and training may be acceptable. We will provide training for caring, compassionate and interested hires. IAEDP-approved supervision is available for those pursing their Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credentials. May be required to work Saturdays.
