The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing all ultrasound exams and ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans. They must also position patients and equipment, and handle the processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Candidates must hold an RDMS or S (ARRT) certification or be a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. A current BCLS certificate and proficient computer skills are also required.
Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within eighteen months (18) of hire date and maintain. 2. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire. 3. Previous experience preferred. 4. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current. 5. Proficient computer skills #LI-TP3 Pay Transparency Desert Valley Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.18. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
