• Hospitalist schedule is 7on/7off with 12-hour shifts (this role is as needed, PRN) 12-hour shifts; 7a-7p Each shift staffed with 2 Physicians and 1 APP rounding providers with 1 dedicated admitter from 10-7 pm Team of 6 Physicians and 2 APPs No overnight shifts Epic EMR

Responsibilities

Procedures optional Hospitalist is code leader Average patient census of 15-17 patients Admission support between 0700-1000 in round robin sequence, majority of admissions goes to dedicated admitter Blocked scheduling UnityPoint employed Telehospitalist cover overnights Excellent work/life balance

Qualifications

MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt) J-1 waiver sponsorship available via HHS waiver process We offer Shift based compensation A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.
