The Cardiovascular Technician prepares patients for invasive cardiac procedures and assists the clinical team with hemodynamic monitoring. They are also responsible for maintaining medical equipment and supplies within the clinical environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in a cath or EP lab and a Heartsaver Certification from the American Heart Association are required.
The (per diem) Cardiovascular Technician is an integral part of the clinical care team, responsible for preparing patients for invasive cardiac procedures, assisting the health care team in hemodynamic monitoring during the case, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
