Orthopedic Center of Illinois seeks a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to join our Team in our Springfield or Decatur location! Opportunity for both Walk-In Clinic and Provider teams.

About the Role

• The Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients.
• This position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating Orthopedic needs, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs.
• This role includes both clinical and surgical time.
• The role requires maintaining accurate patient records and staying updated with the latest medical practices and technologies.
• Ultimately, the APP will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall health of the community.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited program.
• Current Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a primary care or Orthopedic practice setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of patients.
• Diagnose and manage Orthopedic conditions, prescribing medications as necessary.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients.
• Educate patients and their families on health management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
