• If so, we are looking for a Surgical Technologist who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families.

• You will function as a member of the surgical team who promotes safe patient care, prepares for surgical procedures and manages the sterile field, assists the surgeon by passing instruments/equipment and anticipating needs during surgical procedures.
• You will understand and supply, instrumentation and equipment needs from neonatal to adult patients.
• You will demonstrate advanced knowledge and proficient practice in the first scrub role for most surgical procedures.
• You will assist with orientation of new personnel in the surgical technologist role.
• Position requirements: Must have completion of a surgical technologist program.
• Experience required: 2 years of surgical technologist experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.

Hours

Must be flexible to work 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm based on department needs. No weekends or holidays! Children's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
