The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical duties, and chart management. They also handle appointment scheduling and provide information to patients to ensure they benefit from clinic services.
Candidates must have completed a Medical Assistant program or vocational training and hold a current Medical Assistant Certification. A minimum of one year of work experience in a public contact role and a current BCLS certificate are required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

Minimum one year work experience in public contact job Work experience in health care preferred. Medical Assistant Certification. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
