The Wound Ostomy Continence RN serves as a clinical resource for patients with gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary disorders. They provide direct patient care, evaluate current practices for best outcomes, and facilitate staff education and training.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in nursing and have graduated from a Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Education Program (WOCNEP). A minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience and current Florida RN licensure are required.
