The technician will assist pharmacists in medication preparation, compounding, and inventory management while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. They are responsible for maintaining medication security and supporting the pharmacy department's goals to provide positive patient outcomes.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma and a professional certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) along with SC LLR Board of Pharmacy certification. At least three years of hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
