The pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care services including the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of patient medication therapy. They also advise physicians on medication utilization and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of pharmacy and hold a current pharmacist license in the state of Arizona. One year of acute care experience is preferred, though new graduates will be considered.
The individual provides pharmaceutical care services to the patients including, but not limited to, oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing and proper documentation of patient medication therapy. Also, provides drug information, patient information and oversight of information and dispensing systems and ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. May also advise physicians on medication utilization.
