The Nurse Navigator will provide proficient nursing care for patients in Renal and Pulmonary Medicine while implementing high-quality care plans. They will collaborate with physicians to assess patient needs, develop measurable goals, and provide patient education.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in Nursing and possess current D.C. licensure as a Registered Nurse. The role requires the physical ability to perform clinical tasks, including lifting up to 100 lbs and operating medical equipment.
The GW Medical Faculty Associates is looking for a qualified Nurse Navigator to provide proficient nursing care for an individual or group of patients with less predictable problems and to provide leadership in the implementation of high-quality nursing care.
The position will provide support to the departments of both Renal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
