The Occupational Therapist will assess diverse patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and conduct evaluations to help patients regain independence. They will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care and document patient progress thoroughly.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of clinical experience. A valid California Occupational Therapist license and Basic Life Support (CPR) certification are required upon hire.
Accurately identifies patient's functional deficits/dysfunction through review of the medical record, through observation of the patient, through information obtained from the patient/family, and through assessment of expressive/receptive language, motor speech, cognitive/linguistic hearing, voice and swallowing and other speech therapy assessment techniques.
Discussion, Feedback, Chart Review, Observation.
Communicates regularly with other members of the healthcare team regarding goals, progress and rehab potential. Works as a collaborative member of the treatment team.
