The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality image acquisition. They are also responsible for administering contrast media, maintaining quality control standards, and assisting in the training of student and new technologists.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine and hold valid ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB certification. A minimum of two years of MRI experience is mandatory, along with current BLS certification.
Provides quality patient care when performing diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention while adhering to MRI safety principles.
