The Clinic Assistant/Phlebotomist assists clinical research coordinators with study visits, including vital signs, ECGs, and blood draws. They also manage lab responsibilities such as specimen processing, clinic stocking, and maintaining study documentation.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, with higher education and healthcare experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills are required to work independently in a clinical research environment.
The Clinic Assistant/Phlebotomist is responsible for assisting the Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) in clinic and the Lab Supervisor in the lab. Clinic responsibilities include preparing lab draw kits, assisting in requesting medical records and clinic stocking. Must have the ability to communicate well across a wide variety of people and complete tasks within short deadlines.
