Provide person-centered care and direct support to youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. Assist with skill building, emotional regulation, personal care, and daily living tasks while maintaining compliance and documentation.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license with a clean record. The role requires the physical ability to engage in play, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform household tasks like cooking and cleaning.

Since 1997, Advocates for Life Skills and Opportunities (ALSO) has been committed to fostering independence and community inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through employment support, residential living, and in home services.
As a Children Support Professional (CSP) at ALSO, you’ll provide person-centered care to youth (up to age 18) with intellectual and developmental disabilities at home and out in the community. In our Children’s Residential Program, youth have access to 24/7 direct support provided by our dedicated team of advocates. As a CSP, you’ll assist with skill building, emotional regulation, personal care, and behavioral health support in the everyday lives of the amazing individuals we serve.
All candidates considered for employment are required to successfully pass a comprehensive background check prior to joining ALSO and ongoing every two years.
