The pharmacy technician is responsible for accurately entering prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system and processing refill requests. They also act as a liaison between healthcare center staff and the pharmacy, handling prior authorizations and medication rejections.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and possess a current Certified Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Georgia. Three years of pharmacy experience and familiarity with medical terminology are preferred.
