The Radiation Therapist administers radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a radiation oncologist. They are responsible for accurate patient positioning, dose delivery, and maintaining precise treatment records in the electronic medical record.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiation therapy technology program and hold a valid ARRT certification. A valid state license for radiation therapy is also required.
The ideal candidate for the Radiation Therapist will have the following background and experience: Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program. ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
