Hiring range

MA -$17.00 - $19.13, Hourly

LPN -$21.00- $23.63, Hourly

About this position

Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimum supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. May occasionally be requested to float to other Family Medicine clinics to assist in covering patient load.

Required qualifications
Vocational/Technical Certification as Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nursing (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
At least six (6) months previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses

Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of OK by an accredited school of nursing/medical assisting.
Current CPR certification
Valid Driver's License

Skill in delivery of patient care and procedures
Medication administration
Triage experience
Direct patient care
Knowledge of medical terminology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literacy required
Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required
