The Resident Care Assistant provides direct personal care, nursing assistance, and companion services to residents in accordance with their service plans. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining resident records, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of experience in a long-term care setting. A valid first aid certification is required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
The Resident Care Associate provides personal care, companion care, nursing assistance and other assigned tasks to residents living in Eskaton communities. The Resident Care Associate duties include direct resident care, assisting in daily living activities, grocery or personal shopping, errands and other domestic tasks as well as documentation of care provided. Duties and assignments may be adjusted at the discretion of the Resident Care Director or Memory Care Director based on an evaluation of resident needs
Starting pay ranges from $20.65 - $25.75 per hour. Factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, job-related skills, internal equity, and market considerations may influence base pay.

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen. All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment.
