The LPN provides direct, individualized patient care under the supervision of an RN, including medication administration and monitoring patient conditions. They are also responsible for documenting care in accordance with nursing standards and policies.
Candidates must hold an active LPN license and BLS certification, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an LPN program is required, and additional certifications may be necessary depending on the department.
