The medication aide is responsible for the accurate preparation and administration of prescribed medications while monitoring patients for adverse reactions. They must maintain precise medical records and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
The role requires certification as a medication aide and adherence to state and federal safety protocols. Candidates may also be expected to assist with general patient care if they hold a CNA or similar certification.
Hourly salary to be determined after interview and job offer. Service areas include high point lexington, archdale, denton, pleasant garden, randleman, sophia, trinity, thomasville, asheboro, seagrove, star, biscoe, candor, troy, seagrove, and moore county north carolina.

The Medication Aide assists clients in their homes with the administration of prescribed medications in accordance with state regulations, agency policies, and the client’s plan of care. The Medication Aide works under the supervision of a licensed nurse or other authorized healthcare professional to promote client safety, independence, and well‑being. You must have a 10 hour course in adult home care medication aide, not a certified medication technician for this position.
