The Medical Dosimetrist works with the Treatment Planning Team to perform dosimetry for radiation oncology patients under medical supervision. They are responsible for the technical coordination, quality assurance, and development of computerized treatment plans.
Candidates must be a Certified Medical Dosimetrist or Board Eligible, with certification required within two years. Preferred qualifications include at least three years of experience in radiation oncology, specifically with IMRT treatment planning.

Works directly with the Medical Physicist as a member of the Treatment Planning Team. Responsible for all dosimetry performed on all radiation oncology patients under the supervision and medical authority of the Radiation Oncologists. Responsible for the technical supervision, coordination and quality assurance of the dosimetry division of the radiation oncology department.
