Cottage Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. This position provides respiratory therapy services in both routine and critical care settings, supporting patients with a range of respiratory needs.
In this role, you will administer physician-ordered treatments such as oxygen, medications, and aerosols, while also managing advanced therapies including ventilator and airway support. You will perform diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function testing, oximetry, and arterial sampling to assess and monitor patient status.
The Respiratory Therapist works closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to evaluate patient progress, adjust care as needed, and ensure optimal outcomes. Additional responsibilities include maintaining respiratory equipment, documenting care accurately, and supporting a clean and organized work environment. Participation in on-call coverage is required.
