The medical assistant provides basic clinical care, including collecting patient assessment data, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures. They also maintain the clinical environment, document patient information in electronic records, and perform administrative tasks like scheduling and patient check-in.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Medical Assistant Certification from a recognized national association. Additionally, an AHA BLS-HCP certification is required for this role.
