The Mental Health Counselor provides comprehensive therapeutic care, including diagnostic assessments, individualized treatment plans, and both individual and group counseling. They are responsible for maintaining accurate clinical documentation and collaborating with other professionals to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed care.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or Social Work and possess a valid professional license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or LMSW) from the State Department of Health. Previous experience in behavioral health, specifically regarding addiction and rehabilitative processes, is required.

The Mental Health Counselor position encompasses delivering exceptional clinical care through the evaluation, individualized therapy, and group counseling of the clients served by Triumph programs. This position is essential in determining the necessity of treatment and proper diagnoses, crafting strategic treatment plans, and aiding clients in setting and accomplishing their personal goals; while teaching and providing coping strategies for clients.
