The Wound Care Nurse plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes while working collaboratively with other disciplines. They are responsible for providing routine care, implementing physician orders, and monitoring changes in patient conditions.
Candidates must hold a valid LPN nursing license and a valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Prior experience with wound care patients is preferred, though the company provides training for the role.
