The Behavioral Health Specialist provides cognitive-behavioral therapy and support to clients struggling with substance use and emotional health issues. They also coordinate community resources, maintain clinical documentation, and act as an advocate for clients and their families.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma with 3 years of experience or an Associate's degree with 1 year of experience, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. A valid Ohio driver's license, safe driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening are required.

The community based Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) will develop a service relationship with each client to help them develop insight into themselves and their relationships. The BHS provides cognitive-behavioral therapy to assist individuals struggling with a range of issues related to their emotional and behavioral health, such as substance use and addiction, difficulty coping with stress, and grief and loss issues and relationship and family issues.
