The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing high-quality patient care related to respiratory therapy, cardiac, and diagnostic procedures. They also assist the department manager in coordinating departmental functions and providing technical support.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program. Required credentials include NBRC certification, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and a state license to practice Respiratory Care.
High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program. Credentials earned and maintained through the National Board of Respiratory Care. Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment. ACLS and PALS required. Must be licensed to practice Respiratory Care in the applicable state and maintain all required CEUs OCH is an Equal Opportunity Employer
