The physical therapist assistant delivers skilled physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a physical therapist. They implement therapeutic plans designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, and increase patient strength.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and possess a valid Florida state license. Additionally, a BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
