The pharmacist provides comprehensive clinical services to optimize medication use and manages medication orders, including the preparation of sterile products. They also collaborate with the healthcare team, provide education, and participate in departmental committees and projects.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree and possess a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent clinical experience. Active pharmacy licensure for the state of Tennessee is required, along with strong communication and computer skills.
Improves patient's quality of life by providing comprehensive clinical services to patients in area of expertise to ensure optimal medication use and effective resource management, while considering pharmacoeconomic principles across the healthcare system. Works in collaboration with health care team members to accomplish goals. Performs other duties as assigned.
