DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.) Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments prior to appointment. Clean and restock following appointment. Assist patient to exam room, take vitals, weight and height of patient. Enter information into the electronic medical record. Maintain and update patient medical record upon visit including allergies, medications, etc. and enter into the electronic medical record. Flag appropriate room for provider to see patient. Assist with procedures during appointment. Fax forms, orders to nursing homes, etc. as directed by nurse. Sort faxes and distributes appropriately. Check refrigerator temperature (for insulins, injectables, immunizations, etc.) to ensure stability. Code MSR’s on a daily basis. Perform related work as required.
