The Occupational Therapist will assess clients for necessary adaptations and equipment, and then implement therapeutic interventions to develop skills such as fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, and regulation. They will also provide guidance to the clients' families to support the behaviors implemented in treatment.
Candidates must possess a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and must successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy exam or be license eligible in Illinois. A creative mindset and a passion for working with the neurodiverse pediatric population are highly desired.
