The counselor provides individual counseling, conducts assessments, and develops individualized treatment plans to support client recovery. They also manage crisis situations, coordinate referrals, and advocate for clients across various community stakeholders.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree and possess 1-2 years of relevant experience in mental health or addiction counseling. An active professional license such as LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, or LICDC is required.
On Demand Counseling provides comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment, supporting clients in Northeast Ohio through a wide range of services, from individual counseling to group programs.
The Counselor plays a key role in supporting clients through assessments, case management, counseling, and crisis intervention. As a Counselor, you will work directly with clients, families, and community partners to facilitate continuity of care and positive treatment outcomes.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Successful completion of BCI/FBI background check and pre-employment drug screen. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (for LSW) or Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling (for LISW, LPC, LPCC). Active Ohio license in good standing: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, or LPCC-S. Minimum of one (1) year of relevant clinical or counseling experience (may include supervised practicum, internship, or post-licensure work).
