The CDCA provides direct support in substance use treatment services, including facilitating group therapy and managing client documentation. They also coordinate referrals, conduct assessments, and perform crisis interventions under the supervision of licensed staff.
Candidates must hold an active CDCA certification and have completed 40 hours of education in chemical dependency counseling. A high school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to pass a background check are also required.
The Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) provides direct support in substance use treatment services under the supervision of licensed staff. This role assists with all stages of the recovery plan, helping clients engage in treatment and supporting staff in service delivery. The CDCA ensures that care is delivered with professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to program and ethical standards.
This is a 1st shift position.
