The optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose sight problems, and prescribe corrective lenses or treatments. They are also responsible for building patient relationships, providing pre- and postoperative care, and educating patients on eye health.
Candidates must hold a Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution. Additionally, they must have successfully passed all optometric state board examinations.
