Comply with all addiction counseling guidelines as outlined in the ASAM
Provide initial assessments, follow-up assessments, treatment plans and reviews as needed and within level of care guidelines of the payor and/or professional standards.
Provide evidence-based addiction counseling in an individual, family and/or group setting as needed.
Complete session notes appropriately and on the same day of service.
Collaborates with other professionals to ensure care coordination.
Maintains proper documentation per agency and/or governing program policies.
Evaluate client progress, effectiveness of treatment, barriers and level of care needs as needed or on a predetermined time schedule.
Ensure proper evidence-based materials are available for clients.
Provide Case Management for clients as needed or outlined in program obligations.
Provide crisis intervention to clients as needed.
Refer clients to a higher level of care when warranted.
